Do to economic distress, the tech industry has been laying employees off left and right. In fact, studies show that -according to Techcrunch’s Layoff Tracker- about 19,683 employees have been laid off since the downturn. Pretty strong numbers considering where we were just last year. Ebay alone has report about 1500 layouts and so have yahoo.
