CNN used to be the big boy on the block till FOX took that title away. That have only temporarily taken their focus off Obama worship to tell most Americans what they already know about the failed Stimulus bill that our grandchildren will have to pay off. Nothing we didn’t already know about the wasted 787 billion dollars.
I watch Meet the Press on Sunday mornings because I can’t tell by watching the show whether David Gregory is a Democrat, a Republican or something else. His questions are fair and balanced. Tim Russert RIP was the same way. If CNN decides to run neutral programming along those lines, I may start watching them.
Bob Schieffer seems fairly neutral when he hosts Face the Nation as well. His one minute commentary at the end of his show is as cutting as Cafferty’s in Peppermint Patty’s link above. Schieffer doesn’t play favorites there either. Bureaucrats get blasted from either side and I usually agree that they deserved it.
Since you didn’t link to an example of what you’re talking about, we have no way of being able to respond to your question. However, since CNN’s Jack Cafferty decided to go with the truth about Obama’s non-transparent style of government, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pO1oJPps…
could that be the sort of thing you’re talking about?
In other words, telling the ugly truth about Obama’s slick secret deals, no matter who it ticks off in the White House? Could be a nice trend toward journalistic integrity, which does tend to create better ratings….
Whatever they need to do something. They backed Obama and now its beginning to bite them as it put so many viewers off so they really do have to do something. That isn’t in the states either but worldwide. At least they are trying and it shows people can learn from their mistakes.
I don’t care WHO is reporting about all the ridiculous wastes. Calling a $50,000 pave over of a tennis court a job? (They hired 2 people for 2 days to do the work.) They could have hired 2 people for a year for that if they wanted to. Put them in the unemployment office and have them process claims.
They will add the liberal spin of the Clinton News Network, so it won’t work. It would be nice to have a few news stations with some credibility. I mean I used to watch MSNBC when they have Scarborough and Alan Keyes on at night. At least it wasn’t just a station full of left wing hacks.
yes, i noticed that tonight also.
I am against wasteful spending but to say that spending a million on road signs did not create jobs is total BS. The signs did not make themselves or fall from the sky.
Blood and guts and tabloid journalism gets ratings.
What the hell are you talking about? Why don’t you get a life, or a Dildo? Which is easier. And get off fox news balls.Talk about a lunatic fan. Do you have collage on your wall, with burning candles for fox news?
You seriously, seriously need help.
How interesting, did they mention that the idiots still have over $300 billion that hasn’t even hit the street and for construction. Bet this has to do with the small business loans and setting up them before they let the contracts.
CNN will eventually let the truth out on occasion. They just don’t make a habit of it.
there should be even more channels to look at things like that from..
