Wow this demo is hilarious! He only touches the HP Slate TWICE!Once to open a web browser (but no surfing) and once to play a video that’s already cued up! It’s like he’s scared to death to touch the thing lolWheres the powerpoint demo? How do you right-click? Will old programs that aren’t designed to use a touch interface work without having to plug in a mouse and keyboard?Obviously they haven’t nailed this thing down yet.I’ll pass on this mess.

The fact that WIndows 7 is touch-aware, and that you can use non-touch-aware programs with touch in Windows 7 has been a major marketing point since Beta.To answer your question about right-click:”Press-and-hold Hold your finger on screen for a moment and release after the animation to get a right-click. This works everywhere. Or, press-and-tap with a second finger to get right-click, just like you would click the right button on a mouse or trackpad. This works everywhere.”

They are selling it for the same price as a mobile phone. So its cheaper than the iPad. I’ve never had problems with any of HP’s newer products. They are awesome! Can’t beat their prices for the hardware power too.

I won’t buy any HP product since their customer service is terrible and also products don’t last. I regret buying an HP laptop. I prefer Apple company over HP. Apple customer service is much better, and quality product. I believe Steve Job’s will fix Ipad with better features if the customers are not satisfied. Give it less than a year then the next generation Ipad will have what the customers are expecting for touch computer.
